My Story

I’m Living Proof

beautiful-candiceMy name is Candice Tritch, Founder, Director and Choreographer of Dance Alchemy, a 501(c)(3) dance company.I do things every day that doctors once told me would be impossible.
I know what it’s like to feel your dreams crushed, and to think you will never do what your heart craves.

I began to study dance the age of 7 and fell in love with it. I went on to get a college degree in dance, and studied with some of the greats, such as Alvin Ailey and Lars Lubovitch. Then in my mid-20s, I had one serious car accident, then another, and I was told my dance career was over. I felt devastated!

After I healed, I reluctantly shifted gears, went back to school, got a Master’s degree and worked as a social worker for 28 years helping people with disabilities. I always had dance in my heart and danced whenever I could to the extent possible for me.

In my heart, I knew I was meant to make a difference in the world. So, in 2012, I founded Dance Alchemy.  The whole point was to combine peace work with dance, joining forces with, and celebrating peace efforts around the world. Three years ago, we received a grant to make a worldwide collaborative movie – something we had never done before. And we did it! It was hard work, but we did. Actually, we made two global dance movies in a single year. Along the way we grew from a tiny community dance company to a global dance alliance with members in 85 countries, and went from from 95 to more than 30,000 fans on Facebook.

I learned that a small, grassroots organization can have a world-wide impact. And the story is continuing.  We dream big!  We have goals to reach millions around the world for peace. We already have grants towards this, and the ball is rolling!

Over the past few years, we have made more than 50 movies, in addition to the ones I just mentioned. Along the way, I’ve learned what works and what doesn’t to bring forward a Big Message and increase your abundance while honoring your heart-centered purpose.

I’ve founded Alchemedia4You to share what I’ve learned with you, so you can do the same!

I’d love to talk with you about your Big Message.
